Annual Charity Event:

Saturday, April 26th, 2008 marked the date for The Children's Protection Center's inaugural fundraising event, The Great Treasure Hunt, held at the Arkansas Governor's Mansion in Little Rock, Arkansas. The 2nd annual Great Treasure Hunt was held in 2009 on April 3rd. This "snappy casual "event began at 6:00 pm with cocktails & hors d'oeuvres, a Silent Auction, and and treasure "hunt" for guests around 8:00 pm along the beautiful gardens of the Governor's Mansion. Guests were invited to find 2 tiny treasure chests each and redeem them for some great prizes all donated by local business sponsors and friends of the Center. Awards were presented to sponsors for their commitment to protecting children from abuse. Musical entertainment was provided by Little Rock's own Tragikly White Band as guests danced and celebrated the Center's first two years of service until 10:00 in the evening. Proceeds from the event benefited the Children's Protection Center. Many thanks go out to our sponsors and volunteers who helped to raise thousands of dollars to aid victims of child abuse in Central Arkansas.
